AncientSphinxmon was in Frontier? When?
He appeared as shadow like others ancient warriors.
he was indirectly, he was the darkness digispirit from which Koichi tapped into to transform into Loweemon and Jaggerloweemon... everytime you see or hear about any digimon with "ancient" before its name, remember that they are the 10 digispirits from the frontier anime. two very familiar and important faces like him are ancientgreymon the first greymon to ever exist and ancientgarurumon the first garurumon...
Diarbbitmon look cool. Now one more Digimon down.
Glad Angromon got some shine time in and not to be the last one getting the next digivolution. Diarbbitmon looks like a paladin gentleman.
Two more
One more main digimon to ago.
Gonna be honest, I didn't expect Angoramon to be the seocnd one to evolve into a Mega SO SOON after Gammamon (LESS the 3 episodes). But i am glad Diarbittmon (his mega form) debutted soon.
ESPECIALLY considering so far, Angoramon was always the last to get the digievolution.... even when Angoramon appeared BEFORE Jellymon
I also liked the (possibly accidental, possibly on purpose) reference to when Digitamamon asked the same thing to Angoramon about "being a Digimon or Human"
I would like to think that that question was there on purpose.
It would be disappointing that was just coincidence.
would you prefer waiting another 10+ episode of nothing before she gets it?
At least, we will have to wait to see Jellymon's mega, maybe for 5 episodes, because of her BEMemory.
I just hope they will get to the main plot, and that's Gulus.
i thought the answers were
1. Air
2. Truth
lol i'm two pieces of blocks then xD
the 1st riddle should be air, how the heck sunlight get inside a house with no window then. Dumb ass riddle tbh
I got "Silence" but thought it was "Shadow" or "Darkness" for the first one
What a surprise, to think that I would see one of the ancient "Ten Warriors" being an enemy in Digimon Ghost Game... I wonder why that is, since I thought that most of those heroes are in the "digital world" using their modern versions? Not only that, but also seeing that Ancient Sphinxmon had a connection to Pharaohmon... it was not something i expected. I must say that it was a nice touch to see Mummymon present in this episode.
Now this marks the debut of Diarbbitmon, he has a very good design... too bad his fight against Ancient Sphinxmon was short. I wonder... did Ancient Sphinxmon end up being transported to the Dark Area? I can imagine Anubismon's face after seeing Ancient Sphinxmon of all Digimon end up there.
This was "a" AncientSphynxmon but it's not ""the" AncientSphynxmon of the Ten Warriors. There's more than one, much like how the Omegamon fused from Tachi and Yamato's Digimon partners is not the same Omegamon from Survive and neither of them is the one from the Royal Knights. The Lilithmon from previously on the other hand I'm pretty sure was in fact the Lilithmon who is part of the 7 Great Digimon Demon Lords rather than just any Lilithmon.
I usually don't like to bring up information from the "Digimon Reference Book" or start a discussion using the word "canon", although I understand your point of view and why you mentioned the different versions of "Omegamon"... That being said, I must tell you that when we talk about any member of the "Ten Warriors" or the "Seven Great Demon Lords" it has been specified before that they are characters and not species.
In each universe in the entire "Digimon Multiverse" for example there is only 1 Ancient Sphinxmon (in the "modern era" it is usually any of their modern equivalents) and 1 only Lilithmon and the same applies to any of the members of each "group". I understand that this Ancient Sphinxmon is not the same one that died during Digimon Frontier's prologue and was reborn thanks to Kouichi... But their backstory must have been quite similar.
Ancient Sphinxmon was a bit weak here. I would personally think vice-versa that Pharaohmon would be servant (kind of) of Ancient Sphinxmon.
2 down one more evolution to go
Not one, but two or even more. Don't forget that Gulus has his own evolution line.
Only Now I remember they introduced Ruri byhaivng her play the piano....
it has been quite a while since the last time we saw her playing
Happy New Year of the Rabbit!
Happy New Year! To think that Diarbbitmon would debut in the first episode of Digimon Ghost Game to be aired in the year of the Rabbit. Could it be... that it was planned from the beginning?
Gallantmon = Goku
Lucemon = Frieza
Kaizegreymon and Vikemon = Naruto
.
.
.
Diarbbitmon = RORONOA ZORO!!!
diarbbitmon has the same vibe of duftmon elegant swordsman aka musketeer and
zoro is now digimon
next ep, the "Tale of the Gallant ShogunGekomon" LMAO
Thats some cool looking digimon. double saber wielding. Really cool special atacks.
Sorry but Diarbbitmon's my new favorite digimon
Okay 3 things
1. Angoramon’s mega evolution was AWSOME!!!
2. I’m surprised that Gammamon didn’t go all evil eyes when Hiro became a brick for the pyramid? I guess that means he getting better at controlling his emotions
3. ShogunGekomon is coming next week and hopefully Jellymon-Sama Mega evolution!!!
I don't think a mere ShogunGekomon dserves it. Hers shouldn't be different to the others and only be brough out against a threat that's on that level.
It would be too rushed if we will see Amphimon now, right after Diarbbitmon.
Tesla debuted in episode 10, Symbare in episode 15; Thetismon debuted in episode 29, Lamortmon in episode 35.
GG isn't like Adventure 2020 where we had six consecutive episodes with new evolution (Metal Greymon was first and his debut was in episode 10 while Zudomon was last and his debut was in episode 15).
And, Jellymon's BEMemory will come out in middle of february, so we will have to wait a bit.
in addition, the mega evolution happen when 2 of 3 characters in danger, so base on the preview episode, jellymon mega probably not gonna happen next week.
problem with 3. I hope ShogunGekomon is not the Digimon used to debut Jellymon-sama's Mega form (
Jellymon's new dim isn't out till late Feb, so we'll have a couple of weeks before her Mega shows up and its unfortunate her mega is so underwhelming looking but if GG are good at one thing it is making the bad or uninteresting, very threatening and impressive, like Bastemon, no one expected that mon to be such a good competent villain..
I said hopefully so I’m not saying it’s likely besides what I’f ShogunGekomon is as strong as a mega? I mean we saw GulusGammamon kill an oboromon and he was an ultimate level to his champion level so you have consider the fact that an ultimate can be as strong if not stronger than a mega. Does that make sense?
Yes, but that's kinda like putting ShogunGekomon in the same league as GulusGammmamon which sounds rather "unreal/unacceptable". And again, fair treatment-wise, when Gammamon and Angoromon got their Mega Levels, their opponents were legitimate Mega level with actually "powerful" reputations and lore surrounding them, so it would be more "ideal" to have Jellymon's opponent also be a Mega Level who has a rather "deep background/reputation". In many various media and overall background, Shogungekomon is not exactly in the "same league" (lore or level wise) when compared to Kuzuhamon or AncientSphinxmon.
Alternate Idea:
ShogunGekomon, being the Jiraiya the Gallant analogue, might be a "Hero" and is an ally, against a legit Mega Level threat.
Of course, it be a different story if ShogunGekomon digivolved and became something of "equal level" when compared to Kuzuhamon or AncientSphinxmon like maybe Leviamon.
I'm really gotta say that Ghost Game is one of the most disappointing series I have ever watched.
I forgave them for Symbaangoramon, and I forgave them for Lamortmon but now Dilbitmon too? No way. They literally gave Ruli no arc and no development at all! Like, seriously, she wants to "protect the world"? that's what she learned from her encounters with Digimon and that's what she wants to fight for? Compared to Siruismon & Hiro's scene, it really falls flat and is just completely bland.
Also, what the hell happened to the warewolf scene in the end of that warewolf episode when Ruli realized something? I thought it would lead to something related to her ultimate evolution but it seems that it meant literally nothing at all, if yes, then why the hell did they make it?
Oh and there was 0 rage subplot from Lamortmon, it wasn't even acknowledged by characters even though they clearly intended that to be a thing since his first appearance and from his profile too. He didn't even kill one single digimon, how strange.
Dilbitmon's design is very cool, way better than Siruismon but the fact that he appeared in such an average-animated episode with a weak pre-evolution scene ruins that quite a bit.
I might way too harsh on the series but Ruli is really my favorite character of the gang and there could have been a LOT of stuff they could do with her and Lamortmon, they could have given her an arc about being independent and protecting herself, they could have given Lamortmon an arc about calming down and finally being tamed by her, a lot of stuff and they chose to do nothing.
Also please don't tell me that GG is going to rush out the ending, they don't usually let the second character evolve this fast after the first one at all.
I was wondering if you can take a look at the episodes I have been writing on my free time for me and tell me what you think? I've been writing my own Ghost Game episodes for the past couple of weeks. The first of those is your usual Ghost Game episode but has a bad ending that leads to episodes where things progressively goes downhill before it starts to get any better. Check it out because after finding out the writers are clowns who does not understand their modern generation audience I just picked up my "pen". Do fill in the dots between docs google and com. I removed those dots to avoid problems with discus.

I hope they won't rush it GG, because there are so many unsolved mysteries, namely Gulus.
Just out of curiosity, GulusGammamon being a reincarnation out of data from Megidramon after its' death and Megidramon's madness flows within Gulus which radiates as power from within. Gulus's nature is a sentient version of Megidramon's madness and once becoming Regulusmon, that madness is mixed into his blood that can infect other Digimon if wounded. (The RGB Factor) What do you think of that idea?
I thought I borrow how Mephismon came to be via Apokolipmon's fragmented data in the former's media debut in the first Tamer's movie.
What about Chaos Dukemon instead of Megidramon? Megidramon is mindless beast who destroys everything, but Chaos Dukemon is merciless and evil cold-hearted dark warrior. His power and intellect could be descended to Gulus Gammamon.
Megidramon because the RGB Factor that is emitted from Regulusmon supposedly drives any Digimon who is exposed to it into a frenzy similar to a mindless beast. Besides, you can say the fragmented data of Megidramon that made Gulus is the source of the latter's initial violent and bloodthirsty nature. I even have like a Dark history of the Digital World planned with Megidramon and the Holy dragons in mind. Let's just say I plan to make the Black Digimon the anti-hero protectors of the Digital World and let's just say there is a reason Hokuto can't return to the human world.
I guess Roronoa Zoro is now a Mega Form digimon
Diarbbitmon is peak Digimon design. New instant fave!
Angoramon really decided to multiclass as Monk, Barbarian before ending with fighter.
Great episode, glad we got Symbangoramon's mega this soon. It was also interesting seeing Espimon expressing interest in evolution, maybe we'll get Hoverespimon soon?
That mon needs tamer ASAP.
AncientSphinxmon eh... that brings some frontier memories...
and Pharaohmon brings Digimon World 3 memories as well LOL...
an ep with a double shot on the nostalgia...
